Ongoing Tree Care

Tree Maintenance Plans: Lifelong Care for a Treed Property

Big trees reward a rhythm: a little of the right work every few years instead of a crisis every decade. Our maintenance clients get the rhythm, and the crew that already knows their trees.

When to call us

Who maintenance plans fit

  • Properties with multiple mature trees near structures
  • Waterfront and view properties where the trees ARE the landscaping
  • Owners who’d rather budget tree care than get surprised by it
  • Anyone who’s just been through one emergency and would prefer zero more
How the relationship works

Your trees, on a schedule.

It starts with a walk-through: every significant tree on the property, its condition, its risks, and what it needs over the next five years. That becomes a simple written plan, which trees get crown work when, what gets watched, what storm-prep happens each fall.

Then we just show up when the plan says to. Same crew, same climber who remembers that the big fir’s west top got cabled in 2026. Maintenance visits are lighter and cheaper than rescue work: the whole point is that nothing ever becomes a rescue.

Plan clients also get priority on the emergency line after big storms. When the whole county is calling, the trees we already know come first.

What a plan costs

Plans are priced per property from the walk-through: the honest variables are tree count, size, and proximity to structures. Most residential plans work out to a modest annual amount that undercuts what one emergency visit costs.

There’s no subscription trickery: the plan is a schedule and a relationship, billed per visit at maintenance rates. Skip a visit, change the plan, or stop anytime — though in 25 years, the clients who keep the rhythm are the ones who never call us at 2am.

Real questions, straight answers

Frequently asked questions

Most mature PNW trees do well on a 3–5 year crown-care cycle, with an annual visual check you can mostly do yourself once we show you what to look for. Trees near structures, on exposed sites, or with known flaws run tighter cycles. The plan spells out each tree’s rhythm.

Over a decade, dramatically — scheduled thinning visits cost a fraction of emergency work, and they prevent most of it. One roof repair plus one emergency removal buys years of maintenance. That’s the honest math, and it’s why we’d rather be your tree crew than your disaster crew.

No. The plan is a written schedule, not handcuffs. We earn the next visit by how the last one went — “relationships they can depend on time after time” is the whole business model.
